We’ve entered a brand new year! With it comes a brand new widget you can use in your next interactive video project. We call it the “Hotspot“. Let’s explore how this new widget can be used and which projects it’s perfect for.
Introducing the Hotspot widget
The Hotspot widget is simple in essence, but extremely useful as a creative tool.
What is it? It’s a square or circle shape that you can place in your scene to highlight a visual aspect of your content that you want users to click on.
It works just like any other interactive widget in that you 1) place it where you want it to be in your scene, 2) adjust the styling and 3) choose an interactive action to happen when users click on it.

It is free of the flair of icons and text. It’s a clickable shape; no more no less. So how will it help you in your interactive projects and what can you create with it? Let’s move on to some use case examples.
Use case examples for the Hotspot widget
The new Hotspot widget is perfect for your next interactive product video, guided tour, informational video, choose-your-own-adventure, shopping experience and much more.
See the following examples to get inspired for your next project.

Sometimes you just need a simple shape to highlight the important areas of your video experience; and that is why we created the Hotspot widget.
It’s out now! You can find it in the widget library in Qbrick Interact.
