Huzzah! Qbrick live streaming just became even more engaging for your viewers. We’re rolling out further engagement features to the Qbrick live manager, including new apps for live Polls and Q&As. Viewers will also have a bigger say on what topics you should cover, and which questions you should answer.
Here are the headlines:
See this short introduction to our new engagement features:
Answer questions from your viewers
As soon as you have access to this new roll-out, you will see a new tab in your live manager view called “Q&A”. This is where you’ll be able to send out a questions prompt to your live viewers. Something like “Ask your questions here!”.
Your viewers will then be able to send in any questions they have for you. These questions are then viewable for you in the live manager, where you can either dismiss or approve them.
Approving a question means that it will be shown to your live viewers in the chat view. If they like that question they can up-vote it, to make it clear that your answer is important to them.
After that it’s up to you – you can either answer the question in your live, or answer them by text in the chat window. Or both!
Send out polls
Ever wonder what your audience thinks about your topic or opinion? Send out a quick poll to measure the temperature in real time.
Just like the Q&A tab, the “Polls” tab can be found in the chat window inside live manager.
Send out a question with 2 or more options for your viewers to choose from. Example:
“What was your favourite segment in this webinar?
Option 1: Marketing with video
Option 2: Copywriting for social media
Option 3: Utilize AI for an effective workflow”
You can then watch your viewers’ answers roll in in real time and either choose to publish the results in the chat window, or announce the results in your stream. Or both!
Some viewers might not feel comfortable writing openly in chat, but still want to feel like a part of the live experience. Polls are a great way of engaging with these viewers!
All engagement features in one view
Having access to these engagement features in the same view in the live manager gives you the opportunity to jump from different styles of communication and engagement with your viewers. This is the key to keeping your viewers leaned in and immersed in your world.
Turn your chat on and off
Sometimes a live stream isn’t meant to be an open conversation. And sometimes you might want to hold off on opening the floor up for questions. With Qbrick you have the option of turning the chat window with engagement features off and on, depending on your preferences.
