Thinking about cancelling your event because of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

As global concern over the spread of coronavirus grows, so does the list of modern companies choosing to make use of modern solutions to keep hosts and attendees safe - while simultaneously keeping the show running!

You’re not alone in thinking this. In fact, some of the biggest events of the year are communicating that they might be cancelling (or have already cancelled). And for good reason – the biggest concern for any event planner is the safety of all attendees.

But just because you can’t have your event at a physical location doesn’t mean you have to throw away all your hard work!

We can help you stream it online.

Here’s a list of companies and organisations that are choosing to host online video events instead of physical meet-ups:

Adobe Live Summit

Adobe tweeted on march 3rd that they’re choosing to cancel their annual live summit because of concerns regarding the spread of novel corona virus.

They are instead chosing to host this year’s event as an online-only event. They have yet to announce whether or not the event will be streamed live or if it will be pre-recorded.

Facebook: F8

F8 is Facebook’s biggest event of the year and was supposed to take place in May.

Facebook said: “In light of the growing concerns around COVID-19, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person component of F8 this year…”

It is instead set to be replaced with local events and live-streamed content.

Shanghai Fashion Week

While most bigger fashion shows over at Paris and Milan’s Fashion Week have chosen to cancel completely, Shanghai Fashion Week have chosen to go on with their show as a live stream instead.

Brands will be able to show off collections, with some items being available for consumers to purchase immediately.
