System Administrator Linux and Cloud
As a System Administrator Linux & Cloud you will be part of a small but focused team that provides and manages the infrastructure for both the internal and external IT in the Cloud and on-prem hardware and software. Problem solving, communication and quality routines will be part of your daily tasks. We work with developers on building and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline so we can deliver our products to end users with the quality and availability they expect. You will have a lot of opportunities to develop your skills, and you will collaborate with other departments like Sales and Development.
You’ll be part of a small team in a flat organization where everyone is encouraged to contribute with ideas, improvements that span across the organization. This role is perfect for a person with great interest in video communication and desire to extend their knowledge in system integration, automation and cloud technologies. This is the perfect place to learn about the technologies involved in running and scaling an online interactive video platform.. The role also offers opportunities to try out other positions within the company.

Who are you?
To be successful in this position we think you are an experienced engineer, that is comfortable on the Linux command line and has a solid understanding of networking and different layers of the operating system. You are communicative and like to collaborate with others in an open and flat organisational structure. You are comfortable troubleshooting unknown issues when they occur and you are fluent with at least one scripting language that you have used to automate mundane tasks in your daily work. Ideally you have a Devops mindset and it’s a plus if you have experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies in general and you are happy to learn them. You are a self-going person that spots areas of improvement and act on those. If you are interested in video streaming technologies, it is a plus.

- Video processing with ffmpeg

- Tools like Git, Jenkins, LDAP
- Datacenter & hardware
